Love the look of high-end furniture stores, but not the designer price tag? We hear you!
So often, we come across some seriously stunning spaces while browsing Pinterest or flipping through shelter magazines, only to discover the astronomical cost of the furniture and accessories used for the shoot.
Frankly, it’s wrong. Here at Homemakers, we think great style should be accessible to all, no matter your budget. You deserve it! So we use our buying power (and a little Iowa niceness) to lock in the lowest prices for you.
You won’t find any second-rate imitations here. We’re the real deal, and we’re on a mission to show you how to get the home of your dreams at a price that’s a little more down-to-earth.
With that said, let’s get to the good stuff!
How to Decorate Your Living Room on a Budget
This sophisticated living room took the interior design world by storm, and it only takes a quick glance to understand why. Who could resist the caramel leather, tufted cushioning, rich brass details and exotic accents? With its clean lines and neutral palette, it’s a look that works in practically every home—but definitely not in every budget. So, we took a stroll around our showroom and put together an equally luxe look for less!
1. Stylecraft Gold Framed Mirror, $69.99 // 2. Martin Furniture Tribeca Loft Midnight Smoke Black Bookcase, $379.99 each // 3. Ashley Paulie Bonded Leather Loveseat, $309.99 // 4. Ashley Dallyce 8’ x 10’ Rug, $399.99 // 5. Hammary Furniture Hidden Treasures Trunk End Table, $489.99 // 6. Hammary Furniture Hidden Treasures Trunk Coffee Table, $689.99 // 7. Ashley Paulie Bonded Leather Sofa, $329.99 // 8. Martin Furniture Tribeca Loft Midnight Smoke Black Credenza, $639.99 // 9. Lite Source Cupola Brass Floor Lamp, $199.99 each
We were able to duplicate all the details we love about this room, and we even made a few improvements in order to create a more universal look. We adore giant sectionals like the one originally featured, but pieces like that don’t suit every space. A similar sofa and loveseat provide ample seating while still being a great option for smaller homes.
We also liked the embossed crocodile tables, but we thought they might be a little overwhelming combined with all the leather and animal print details throughout the space. Antique trunk-inspired tables capture the exotic, safari-chic vibe, while their brass accents tied the room together.
