Welcome to our Pantone Spring color series! This year, Pantone released a vibrant new color palette, including the color of the year: Greenery. This week, we’re showing you how to decorate your home with Pantone Hazelnut!
Warm up your home with this soft neutral. It’s the color of a creamy, steaming latte or a welcoming farmhouse table with fresh, homemade cookies. “Reminiscent of the hues that surround us in nature, our Spring 2017 Fashion Color Report evokes a spectrum of emotion and feeling,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. Hazelnut is no exception. Keep scrolling to read about the timeless neutral in Pantone’s Spring 2017 palette!
“Rounding out the spring 2017 colors is Hazelnut, a key neutral for spring,” says Laurie Pressman, Vice-President of the Pantone Color Institute. “This shade brings to mind a natural earthiness. Unpretentious and with an inherent warmth, Hazelnut is a transitional color that effortlessly connects the seasons.”
Create inviting warmth in your home with this hue, similar to Pantone’s 2016 fall hue, Warm Taupe. Its ability to complement any color scheme makes it perfect for long-term investment pieces like a bed frame, sofa or dining set. You can pair Hazelnut with bright pops of color, or keep it calm with similarly earthy shades like autumn’s Dusty Cedar.
