3. Valentine’s Gift for the One Who Loves Coffee

Coffee-lover gift materials:

- DIY photo coasters
DIY Coaster Materials:
- White tiles
- Images on paper
- Mod Podge
- Paint brush
How to Make the DIY Coasters:
Step 1: Cut out the image and felt into squares the size of the coaster.
Step 2: Use Mod Podge to glue the felt onto the bottom of the coaster.
Step 3: Paint the top of the coaster with Mod Podge. Place and smooth out the image on top.
Step 4: Once that dries, use Mod Podge to paint a coat over the image. This gives the image a glossy look!

5. DIY Valentine’s Gift for the One Who’s Indecisive
If you can’t decide on which date night box you want to create, that’s no problem! Make a date night jar. It only takes three materials and three steps to create! You will definitely save more time when the time comes to decide where to go on date night.
Date Night Jar Materials:
How to make the DIY date night jar:
Step 1: Pick your date nights! This could be either a mixture of going–out date nights, morning dates or restaurant options of your favorite places. We went with a mixture of things to do on a night out and night in. Here’s our list:
Date Night Jar Ideas:
- Visit a sculpture park or art gallery
- Spend the evening at a botanical garden or arboretum
- Volunteer together
- Trivia night
- Take a class (dancing, cooking, pottery, painting)
- Game night
- Make a pizza
- Fondue night
- Ice cream bar night
- Video game night
Step 2: Write out your list on sheets of paper. We coordinated ours with whether they were nights out or in. Purple paper has staying in activites and pink paper has going–out activities. Another option would be to separate the options based on price points.
Step 3: Cut out the date night options and place them in a jar or some type of container. Give the jar to your date and have him or her draw a piece of paper! Let fate decide what you do on date night!
