We’re very excited to announce a new renovation! We renovated our treat area where we served cookies, coffee and lemonade and now have a new café at Homemakers called HOMEgrounds. In addition to our free cookies, we serve signature drinks here too (because who doesn’t love a good pumpkin spice latte?).
Our café at Homemakers includes charging stations, booths, tables and space to hang out, chat and enjoy a treat… or re-caffeinate. We’re not judging how many coffees you order. This new space is much more modern and gives the store a fresh, up-to-date look. It also provides you with more space to relax and recharge during your shopping experience.
So how did the name HOMEgrounds come about? The name was inspired by the idea of a “home base.” We’d like to think of this space as our home base where you can sit, hang out and sip on a drink with family and friends. When you swing by for a visit (because we know you will), check out the wood elements in HOMEgrounds. Can you guess where they came from? Our tabletops and the wood wall features by the escalators are crafted from reclaimed barnwood from Daniel’s Amish. The very table you’ll be sitting at was once an Amish barn in Ohio, which is pretty cool!
We held a soft opening on Friday, September 27 where we had breakfast food and of course, coffee. You can check out the video below to see the renovation of HOMEgrounds. Be sure to check out the menu and stop into the store to enjoy a drink while you shop! Don’t forget to ask about your seasonal favorites. We know you’re going to order a salted caramel mocha!
